  We enjoyed our stay at Black Pig Hostel very much! It's a small hostel with a relaxed and wellcoming atmosphare. Situated in a small village in the mountains it's a perfect location for hiking tours in the beautyfull area. As there is a bus connection to the next city, you can also do daytrips to other parts of the island even without a car.

  We had a great stay there. The house is comfy and clean. The host took good care of us and gave us some advice concerning restaurants and hiking. There are several hiking trails nearby and the landscape is just beautiful. The airport can be reached by bus in less than one hour.

  This hostel is quite isolated and the beds are somewhat rough. But the isolation was just what we were looking for! What really brings this place to life is the GREAT staff that are very social, helpful and funny! We had a great time at breakfast trading stories on the terrace. The surrounding area is wonderful for hiking and enjoying the quiet mountains. Only setback is the beds. But for the price it is very acceptable. I definitely recommend this hostel. Especially for hikers.
